Recent study says Anti-aging supplements can help retard aging
Scientists so far do not fully understand all the processes that lead to loss of function in aged. However, Leewenburgh, the study author of Institute of Ageing, University of Florida said that it is important for all the people to focus on good nutrient and for those in the advanced age that they are trying to provide a supplement mixture to improve their quality of life.
Researchers say though the process involved in aging is nor fully understood there is a conclusion that oxidative damage which piles up in the cells of aged causes the stoppage of energy generation system. This problem has been addressed by many researchers and supplements were introduced to reduce the effect of free radicals on human cells. Free radicals are organic molecules responsible for aging, tissue damage and possibly some diseases.
The researchers carried out the trials of supplement food in rats and humans of various age groups and came to a conclusion that such so-called netraceuticals should be taken before very old age for benefits such as improvement in physical function.
