Indian star cricketer Yuvraj Singh was diagnosed with grade I lung cancer

Indian star cricketer has flown to U.S. on January 2012 for taking chemotherapy and recently he has been affected by a malignant type of tumour in his lung. Now, he is undergoing chemotherapy at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston.
Earlier, it was told by his family that he was only having a non-malignant type of tumour and two reports he received at India were not able to confirm it for a malignant type.

An Indian (Assam) police barefoot running is going to be entered in Guinness Book of World Records

A police constable from Assam had done impossible records in running with barefoot and is set to enter the Guinness Book of World Records.
Abhijit Baruah, aged 22 belonging to Jorhat town in the area of Upper Assam has crossed 156.2km with barefoot in just 24 hours.
He started the barefoot running on Monday by 3.56 p.m. from Jorhat and ended his running by 3.56 p.m. on Tuesday.

Baby Falak at AIIMS is responding for treatment and taken off ventilator

The two year old Baby Falak is responding to treatment and she was taken-off ventilator support said doctors at AIIMS.
Dr. Deepak Agarwal, neurosurgeon said that she was put off ventilator at 6 a.m. to-day and her parameters of blood are being checked carefully for the response she has now for antibiotics. Doctors said if she continues responding for the treatment, she has to undergo another life saving surgery in a coming few days.

Indian Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) has developed low-cholesterol ghee

The National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) has developed low-cholesterol ghee and they have achieved the result by a new technique which removes about 85 percent of the cholesterol from the natural ghee like cow or buffalo milk cream.
NDRI has commercialized the technology through the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC).
The researchers have said that they have removed the cholesterol up to 80 to 85 percent without affecting the quality parameters specified under the prevention of food adulteration rules (PFA).

India ranked the worst in the world for the effects of polluted air on human health.

Of all the countries surveyed in the Environmental Performance Index (EPI), India is found to be the worst in the effects of polluted air on human health and India ranked the lowest at 132.
The annual survey was conducted by Yale and Columbia universities in the United States and it was based on the satellite data to measure air pollution concentrations.
